For agency owners

Commission tracking for final expense agencies

Track what each policy should pay, what has been paid, and which advances are at risk, by agent and by carrier, in the same book your team already works.

What owners need to see

Illustrative example: one agent writes for two carriers with different advance rules. On the statement it is one number. In the book it is a list of policies, each with a booked advance, a paid status and a date when the advance is earned. The gap between what was booked and what was paid is where the questions start.

How LegacyCore shows it

The Finance page shows booked advance, paid, pending and back-end commission due for an agent, a team or the whole agency, built from the policies in the book.

  • By carrier and by agent, so a carrier that pays late or an agent with early lapses stands out.
  • Chargeback Watch for the policies still inside the chargeback window.
  • A pending pipeline and a back-end forecast for what is still to come.
  • Splits with a co-agent are recorded on the application.
  • The Tax Center turns a year of paid commissions into a statement by quarter and month.

Where the figures come from

Commission is estimated from each policy's annual premium and the contract level and advance rules set for the agent. It stays an estimate until the carrier pays. How each number is built is on the methodology page.
